The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in Freiburg, Germany is the largest solar research institute in Europe. With a staff of about 1400, we are committed to promoting a sustainable, economic, secure and socially just energy supply system based on renewable energy sources. We contribute to this through our main research areas of energy provision, energy distribution, energy storage and energy utilization. Through outstanding research results and successful industrial projects, spin-off companies and global collaborations, we are shaping the sustainable transformation of the energy system.
Do you want to actively shape the energy transition and gain practical experience during your studies? With us, you'll be working to make this goal a reality. In our clean room at the Center for Highest Efficiency Solar Cells, we are laying the foundation for the next generation of solar cells with the highest efficiencies. To support our technical and scientific staff, we need a responsible assistant to perform the characterization of metal contacts by means of the "Transmission Line Method" (TLM).and to supervise the TLM measuring station. Further tasks include the optical characterization of solar cells by photospectrometry.
Therefore, we are looking for a Student Assistant for our group "III-V Semiconductor Technology" for the next possible date.
